Much has been written about the famous “tablao” El Corral de la Moreria, as it is one of the best flamenco shows in Spain. The owner and artistic director of Corral de la Moreria (Blanca del Rey, renowned choreographer and dancer) carefully selects the best artists from all over Spain, which guarantees a terrific show. Dancers and musicians exude a genuine passion for flamenco from every fiber of their being. When the lights are out, the spotlight illuminates the stage and the first chords of the Spanish guitar sound, you will understand what we mean.
Corral de la Moreria, elegance and refinement
The venue is small, elegant and intimate which help to have good visibility from almost everywhere. Anyway we recommend booking in advance and getting there early (20-25 minutes before) to get the best possible seats.
Special mention should be made of the restaurant which has been selected by Michelin Guide for five years in a row. Traditional food, exquisite tapas and a great selection of Spanish wines are good reasons to choose this restaurant! If you choose the dinner option- you have to come 1 hour before the show starts.
Regarding the location, it couldn´t be better as it is just 5 minutes walking from the Almudena Cathedral and the Royal Palace. This unbeatable location makes it sometimes really difficult to get tickets for this “tablao”, especially on weekends.
