Delight yourself with an authentic flamenco evening in one of the oldest “Tablaos” (Flamenco venues) in Madrid (1919), an emblematic place to enjoy an unforgettable night.
Thanks to the efforts of the owners, committed always to the world of Flamenco, Villa Rosa has been privileged to host some of the best artists in the Flamenco scene such as Antonio Chacón, Ramón Montoya, Lola Flores, Antonio Mairena or Juanito Valderrama.
Despite the passage of time, Villa Rosa remains as one of the temples of Flamenco in Madrid: every night we can enjoy mesmerizing flamenco performances by great professional artists who come from all over the country. It does not matter whether you are an expert or it is the first time you listen to Flamenco, the romantic chords of the Spanish guitar, the broken and pure voice of the “cantaores” (singers) and the strength and passion of the “bailaores” (dancers) will send shivers down your spine!
Tablao Flamenco Villa Rosa
Another aspect we would like to highlight is the decoration which is certainly lived up to the quality of the shows. The facade is completely covered with beautiful tiles which represent symbolic places of Andalusia and Madrid, the true epicenters of Flamenco. Further, the interior decoration is equally spectacular and reminds the beautiful Moorish palaces of Southern Spain (arches, wood, tiles, frescoes, etc.). In fact, Flamenco has important Arab influences.
Although Villa Rosa has considerable dimensions, visibility is good from almost anywhere (except some tables where the columns slightly impede visibility. For that reason, we recommend getting there a little early).
To all this, we cannot forget its unbeatable location between the Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol, two of the main attractions in Madrid. Given that situation, it is not strange that numerous tourists choose this “tablao” to enjoy a Flamenco evening in Madrid. Despite this, Villa Rosa keep its authenticity and purity and many locals and Flamenco lovers come to Villa Rosa every night.
